TCU police adjust patrols as campus grows
The addition of the Lubbock parking lot, coupled with recent crimes in the area, will not lead to an increase in the number of police officers in the area, said Lt. Ramiro Abad, head of the TCU police patrol division.
Instead, the current police patrol routes and the time devoted to parking lot stakeouts will be adjusted, Abad said.
Froggie Five-0 gets new carts
TCU Police replaced two Froggie Five-0 golf carts this year.
Froggie Five-0 supervisor Dustin Naegle said the decision to update the two carts came after they failed to meet performance standards.
Naegle said these carts will maintain the program’s reliability, and would help create a safer campus.
Career advisor says students must network to find post grad work
The majority of jobs for graduating students are found through personal networking and experience, a TCU career advisor said.
Mary Beth Grayson, a TCU career advisor, said regardless of your major, experience is what makes the difference.
