The editor of Skiff is responsible for managing content and the production of the weekly publication. Skiff should have a distinctive voice from the online publications, rather be an echo of the sites. The editor is expected to work closely with line editors and the leadership team to identify content best suited to print. The editor should also work closely with the advertising staff taking advantage of opportunities that could help generate revenue. Should be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons to handle editing and production duties.
- Successful completion of Reporting 30204 (or coursework in another major deemed comparable by student media advisers)
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus
