Rivers expected to stumble

Byes, byes and guess what? More byes. Teams that have byes this week are Buffalo, Cincinnati, New England, New York Giants, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Set your lineups accordingly. Now, on to the guys I’m high and low on for week seven.

Guy’s I’m High On

Tony Romo QB Dallas vs. St. Louis–Romo and the Cowboys go up against one of the worst teams in the NFL this week. Romo and company should have no issues passing all over this porous defense.

Colt McCoy QB Cleveland vs. Seattle–Seattle has shown problems stopping the pass. Colt McCoy has found a new weapon in Greg Little, and these two should have no problems against the Seahawks.

Darren McFadden RB Oakland vs. Kansas City–Run DMC is going to run all over Kansas City. The Chiefs have had problems stopping elite players all season and will have trouble containing the explosive McFadden.

Mark Ingram RB New Orleans vs. Indianapolis–The Colts have looked better over the past few weeks against the run. But this week they will be facing one of the best quarterbacks in the league and will forget about the run.

Dwayne Bowe WR Kansas City at Oakland–The Chiefs have had their issues so far this season, but one of the few bright spots has been Dwayne Bowe. Oakland’s secondary is less than stellar, and Bowe should get open throughout the game.

Brandon Marshall WR Miami vs. Denver–Last week quarterback Matt More looked at Marshall more than any other receiver, including three times in the end zone. This week the Dolphins go up against a lackluster defense in the Broncos and should be able to be very productive.

Guy’s I’m Low On

Philip Rivers QB/Vincent Jackson WR San Diego at New York Jets–The Jets have the best pass defense in the league hands down. Rivers and Jackson could experience some success here, but Jackson is going to get very lonely out on Revis Island.

Matt Ryan QB Atlanta at Detroit–Detroit has been one of the best defenses this season because of their defensive line play. This aggressive D-line should be able to get to Matt Ryan throughout the game and force the Falcons to run the ball.

Maurice Jones-Drew RB Jacksonville vs Baltimore–Baltimore is one of the best defenses in the league, and Jacksonville is one of the worst offenses in the league. This does not bode well for MoJo running behind rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

Steven Jackson RB St. Louis at Dallas–Dallas has had a surprisingly good defense so far this season. This success should continue against the Rams, and they may be forced to pass it, especially if Dallas jumps out to an early lead.

Larry Fitzgerald WR Arizona vs. Pittsburgh–The Cardinals’ offense has struggled at times this year, especially with quarterback Kevin Kolb. I expect it to continue to struggle against one of the top defenses in the league.

Jason Witten TE Dallas vs. St. Louis–The one bright spot for the Rams is that they have been able to hold tight ends in check. While Witten is one of the top targets for Romo, I think St. Louis might be able to slow him down.

So there you have it. There are the guys I’m high and low on for week seven. And that, my friends, is factually correct fantasy football.
