It was a big weekend for TCU’s men’s and women’s tennis teams. Both teams are playing in the ITA Texas Regional Championships.

Sophomore Max Stevens defeated Rob Lee of Lamar University to win the Men’s Single Consolation Finals. Junior JT Sundling and senior Paul Chappell also paired up to defeat Lamar and move to the Round of 16 Main Draw Doubles Bracket.

Sundling and Chappell were not able to advance after they were defeated by Texas in the Round of 16.

Millie Nichols and Olivia Smith on the TCU women’s team  advanced to the championship finals after defeating SMU on Monday. Nichols and Smith will face No. 2 A&M on Tuesday. The first serve is at 10 a.m.
