The future of seating at Amon G. Carter Stadium will be discussed tonight at a summit in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum at 6.

Topics such as 2012 football season ticket pricings and renewel as well as a comprehensive reseating plan will be discussed.

Director of Major Gifts John Denton said that last years 23,000 season tickets need to be renewed or sold. The seating this past year was temporary so some seating could change, Denton said.

Director of Athletics Media Relations Mark Cohen said, "Everything in the 2011 year was a one-year process transitioning from the old Amon Carter to the new Amon Carter."

Denton and "Voice of the Horned Frogs" Director of Broadcasting Brian Estridge will open the meeting with a ten minute introduction and general information.

Athletics Director Chris Del Conte will then present the program with details on season tickets and other general information about the renovated stadium. The meeting will conclude with a question and answer open forum.

2012 season tickets will go on sale in mid-March, Denton said.

Denton said 1,000 or more people are predicted to attend.

Parking will be available in the Dee J. Kelly Alumni Center and Visitors Parking Lot adjacent to the coliseum or in the Bellaire north lots 1A and MC across from the football practice fields.

The event will also be broadcast live from the GoFrogs.com website at 6 p.m.

"The event is open to everybody," Cohen said.
