    TCU police receive bookstore threat

An unspecific threat on the TCU Barnes and Noble Bookstore was made to the TCU Police this morning. At approximately 10:03 Thursday morning, a campus-wide e-mail was sent out by Lisa Albert, director of communications, notifying students of the call.

E-mail to campus from Lisa Albert:

This morning, TCU Campus Police received a call from an unidentified person indicating that unspecified action would occur at the University’s bookstore later today. It is not unexpected to receive such calls in response to yesterday’s arrests.

The University determined it was important to keep the campus community informed of this development. TCU Police and Fort Worth Police have increased their presence at the bookstore and continue to patrol the campus. As always, please remain aware of your surroundings and report any concerns to TCU Police at 817-257-7777. The University will send further updates as needed.
