As the TCU Horned Frogs prepare to kick off against the Virginia Cavaliers, here are 20 facts and figures to consider:

– The number of times Virginia has played in Fort Worth. This is the first meeting between the Horned Frogs and the Cavaliers in Amon G. Carter Stadium.

– The number of sacks TCU has allowed this season.

– The number of seniors on the Horned Frogs' offensive line. Center James Fry and offensive guard Blaize Foltz are two of six seniors on TCU's starting offense.

– The number of Virginia Cavaliers originally from Texas. Freshman cornerback Kelvin Rainey is from Houston and sophomore fullback Zachary Swanson is from Katy.

– The number of punts TCU has had in their first two games.

– The number of Canadians the Cavaliers have on their active roster.  The players are linebacker Trent Corney, offensive lineman Ryan Doull and defensive tackle Brent Urban.

– The number of sacks TCU has had on the season. Linebacker Joel Hasley leads the team in sacks, with both his sacks coming against Kansas.

– The number of TCU defensive starters who have had less than three career starts.

– The number of quarters without TCU giving up a touchdown, dating back to last season’s Poinsettia Bowl win.

10 – The number of consecutive games won by TCU, dating back to last season. It’s the longest active win-streak in NCAA Division I football.

14 – The number of consecutive games TCU defensive end Stansly Maponga has had at least half a sack.

15 – The number of true freshmen who have played for Gary Patterson this season.

16 – The number of seniors on this year’s TCU roster. 11 of those players are playing on a football scholarship.

17 – Number of tackles TCU sophomore Joel Hasley has. He is leads the team with tackles this season.

24 – The number of consecutive games TCU has won when allowing 28 points or less.

38 – The average number of points TCU scores per game this season.

115 – Number of games TCU has gone without allowing a kickoff return for a touchdown. Fred Smith of Tulane University was the last TCU opponent to return a kickoff for a score, doing so in 2003.

244 – Number of games TCU has gone without being shut out. The last time the Horned Frogs failed to score in a game was Nov. 16, 1991, when the Frogs lost to the University of Texas, 32-0.

1995 – The last time Virginia played in the state of Texas. The Cavaliers lost to the Texas Longhorns, 17-16.

2009 – The last year TCU played Virginia. The No. 16 Horned Frogs beat the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, 30-14.
