Mr. and Ms. TCU crowned at homecoming game

TCU Royalty was crowned during halftime at the homecoming game Saturday against Texas Tech University.

The titles of Mr. TCU and Ms. TCU were awarded to Clay York and Andrea Hein, respectively.

York is a senior ballet, modern dance, and news-editorial journalism major and Hein is a senior Speech Language Pathology and strategic communication major.

The titles of Mr. and Ms. TCU were selected from a pool of ten candidates.

According to the university homecoming website, the selection was based on a resume, a short essay, a popular vote and an interview process. Student voting concluded last Monday and reduced the pool from 10 to five candidates.

The final five candidates for Mr. TCU were Kyle Cochran, Will Hardy, Brian McDermott, Pratik Mehta and Clay York.

The final five contestants for Ms. TCU were Andrea Hein, Alyssa Isaguirre, Hayley Lyddon, Seannie Nahas and Vanessa Norris.
