Who to watch: TCU

Who to watch: TCU

TCU has the Big 12 leader in tackles for loss on the defensive line and a top 10 scorer in the Big 12 as they head to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Devonte Fields, defensive end, freshman

Devonte Fields leads the Big 12 with eight sacks and 14 tackles for loss. He ranks in the top 20 nationally in both categories. The Arlington native is one of three Big 12 players to record four tackles for loss in a game. He has forced two fumbles and made 32 tackles this season.

Jaden Oberkrom, placekicker, freshman

Jaden Oberkrom receieved three national honors, including Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week, for his 23-point performance against Texas Tech. The Arlington native went a perfect 6-for-6 on field goals and 5-for-5 on extra points. He ranks No. 5 in Big 12 individual scoring with 10.3 points per game. Oberkrom leads TCU in scoring with 72 points. If TCU's offense stalls again in the red zone, Oberkrom can make a huge difference.

Skye Dawson, receiver, senior

Skye Dawson set career-highs in receiving yards (154) and catches (10) against Texas Tech. The Mesquite native also racked up 94 total return yards. Dawson made the Weekly Honor Roll for the Paul Hornung Award, an award given to college football’s most versatile player, for his performance. He ranks No. 3 on the team with 24 receptions and has a team-high 775 all-purpose yards.
