College students seem to have a reliance on caffeine to get them through lectures and late night study sessions, but there are healthier alternatives to power through the day.

With TCU entering their first year in the Big 12, here are twelve 12 interesting facts, figures and stats about the 2012-13 Horned Frogs.

1- The number of Horned Frogs who have played in the Little League World Series. Freshman center Aaron Durley played for Saudi Arabia in 2005 and 2006 at first base and set a record for the tallest and largest Little League player in the LLWS. In 2006, Durley was 6'8 and 245 pounds with a size 19 shoe.

4- The number of Horned Frogs to win league Freshman of the Year awards. Sophomore guard Kyan Anderson won the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year last year, joining Damion Walker (1996 Southwest Conference), Juan Bragg (1995 SWC) and Jeff Jacobs (1994 SWC) as the only TCU players to win their respective league award.

6- The number of incoming players for TCU. The highest profile of these players is likely forward Devonta Abron, a forward who transferred from Arkansas.

6'4- The average height of a TCU player. Durley is the tallest player on the team, measuring six feet and 10 inches tall.

7- The number of times TCU has played in the NCAA tournament. The last appearance in the Big Dance for TCU was 1998.

8- The number of times head coach Trent Johnson has taken a team to the playoffs. The last appearance in the playoffs for Johnson was last season, when Johnson led the LSU Tigers to a NIT appearance.

9- The number of players Johnson has coached into the NBA.

9- The number of returning lettermen TCU has this season. This includes starters Kyan Anderson and Garlon Green.

14- The total number of times TCU has reached the postseason. The last time the Horned Frogs played in the postseason was last year, when TCU reached the CBI tournament.

37- The number of blocked shots forward Amric Fields has had in his career. Fields is the school's active career leader in this category.

78- The number of consecutive games forward Garlon Green has played.

171- The number of points Green needs to score in order to reach 1,000 points in his career. Green will become the 31st Horned Frog to reach the feat in his career if he does.
