Texas comes into Thursday's game on a four-game win streak and, like TCU, has not played a game since Nov. 10. The Longhorns offense is led by quarterback David Ash, who leads the Big 12 in passing efficiency (161.7).

David Ash, quarterback, sophomore

David Ash threw for 364 yards and two touchdowns in the Longhorns’ 33-7 victory over Iowa State. The Belton native has thrown 17 passing touchdowns and five interceptions. Ash is completing 69.3 percent of his passes for 235.4 yards per game.  He has recorded three 300-yard passing games this season.

Mike Davis, wide receiver, junior

Mike Davis caught seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown against Iowa State. Davis has a team-leading 45 receptions on the season for 837 yards. The Dallas native averages 18.6 yards per catch and 83.7 yards per game.  His seven touchdowns lead the Longhorns along with his four 100-yard receiving games.

Alex Okafor, defensive end, senior

Alex Okafor had a team-high nine tackles, including one tackle for loss, against Iowa State. He leads the Longhorns with 12 tackles for loss, eight of which are sacks. Okafor’s eight sacks ranks No. 2 in the Big 12. He is also third in tackles for loss behind TCU’s Devonte Fields and West Virginia’s Josh Francis.  The Pflugerville native also has three forced fumbles and a blocked a field this season.
