    TCU guard Danielle Breaux and forward Delisa Gross combined for 20 points off the bench to pull the Frogs to within a point heading into halftime.

    TCU's Veja Hamilton opened the contest with a bucket followed by a Natalie Ventress 3-pointer for TCU, but the Cowgirls countered with five points from Brittney Martin and Liz Donohoe.

    Breaux finished the first half with 11 points on a perfect 4-of-4 from the field along with a 2 assists.  The sophomore had 11 of TCU's 13 points during a stretch that spanned from the 12:11 mark until 5:11 remained.

    Gross added 9 points as the bench duo both played 12 of the 20 opening minutes. Her and Breaux shot a combined 80 percent to keep TCU alive in the game.

    TCU's big three of Kamy Cole, Ventress and Zahna Medley started the game 3-of-12 from the field. The trio averages a combined 34.4 points per game, but only managed to combine for nine first half points.

    Oklahoma State's Toni Young, the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week, netted 10 points along with 5 rebounds in the opening half. Donohoe led all scorers with 14 points, including four 3-pointers.
