The university's women’s tennis team faces Arizona at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center Friday.

The Frogs are No. 28 and 5-1 on the year after last weekend's match wins over No. 17 Vanderbilt and No. 46 Pepperdine.

"We gotta toughen up. We have to win. We gotta play better. We can't let down after beating a team like that," head coach Dave Borelli said.

Both the Horned Frogs and the Wildcats have won their last two matches in a row, putting the Wildcats at No. 30 and 6-3.

The only loss the Horned Frogs have this season are against No. 9 Alabama.

Friday’s match-up will be the sixth all-time between TCU and Arizona. The Wildcats have claimed each of the previous five meetings, though the two programs have not met since 2003.

"It's going to be tough. Every match is tough, and now everyone is gunning for us because we are getting better," Borelli said.

The match is set for 1 p.m. and will likely be held in the indoor facility.
