TCU swept a doubleheader Saturday, defeating both the UTPA Broncs and the Memphis Tigers at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

The No. 36-ranked Horned Frogs defeated UTPA 6-1 and Memphis 5-0. With the wins, the Frogs have won eight of their last nine matches and improve to 15-5 on the year, the team's best winning season since 2008.

Against UTPA, TCU was victorious in doubles, as No. 79-ranked sophomores Will Stein and Nick Chappell took a 8-1 win. Max Stevens and JT Sundling also found a win, leaving the court with a 8-4 final score.

TCU's second point in the match came from Rodolfo Bustamante's fourth-straight singles win as he finished with a 6-0, 6-1 straight set win.

Facundo Lugones scored TCU's third point with a 6-0, 6-4 win, with Arnau Dachs giving the Frogs a guaranteed match win with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Thomas Panoulas.

Blake Wiggins and JT Sundling won their matches after TCU had clinched a win. UTPA sole point came from a third set tiebreaker after TCU had clinched a win.

In the Memphis match, TCU also claimed its first point in doubles, as Arnau Dachs and Orlando Superlano found a 8-5 win over Lukas Vmak and Johnny Grimal.

The duo of Chappell and Stein clinched doubles for the Frogs as the pair won 8-3.

Singles were dominated by the Frogs, as Facundo Lugones defeated No. 110 Grimal 6-1, 6-1. Bustamante beat David O'Hare 6-3, 6-3 to give TCU a 3-0 overall lead.

Superlano clinched the match for TCU after a 6-3, 6-4 set sweep. After his win, No. 103-ranked Chappell ended his match with a third-set super tiebreaker, ultimately winning 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4) win over Connor Glennon.

After TCU was up 5-0 as a team, the matches at Nos. 2 and 5 singles were stopped, with TCU leading by a set in both.

The wins gave TCU the most wins under head coach Dave Roditi in a season. The Frogs are back on the court April 5 when they open Big 12 play against Oklahoma State.
