Associate Vice Chancellor retires

Associate vice chancellor for human resources and risk management Jill Laster is retiring after 34 years at TCU, according to an email sent to TCU faculty and staff today.

Laster was the University Ethics Officer and Risk Manager for the university and Brite Divinity School.

"Jill’s dedicated service, intuition, and vision have made a broad impact on the university community," vice chancellor for finance and administration Brian Gutierrez wrote in the email.

Compliance officer Shari Barnes will "continue to serve as the primary point of contact for Human Resources and Risk Management at this time," according to the email.
