Students, faculty and distinguished alumni gathered for the dedication and ribbon cutting of the new residence halls in Worth Hills Friday.

Both Pamela and Edward Clark Hall and Marion Hall were the subject for celebration, as they are first steps in the complete renovation of the Worth Hills property.

According to a TCU website, Marion Hall is named for Anne Marion, her husband John, and The Burnett Foundation for their recent philanthropic gifts to TCU.

Pamela and Edward Clark Hall is named for a couple that donated to TCU. Both groups of donors were present at the event.

Both of the residence halls stand four stories tall, and have a total 396 beds between the two. The Halls opened for the beginning of the fall 2013 semester for sophomores, juniors and seniors.
