TCU Police arrested a man on suspicion of criminally trespassing for a second time on TCU’s campus around 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

TCU Police identified the suspect as Lorenzo Cortez.

Detective Vicki Lawson of TCU Police said she would not comment on why Cortez was not allowed on campus because the case was still pending.

Three TCU Police vehicles blocked in Cortez’s car in a campus parking lot near Smith Hall at the intersection of West Lowden Street and Greene Avenue.

TCU Police said officers tracked down Cortez after receiving a tip that he was on campus again.

TCU Police Sergeant Michael Hanvey said that once Cortez was found, Fort Worth Police were called to the scene to make the arrest.

Cortez is currently being held in Mansfield Jail on a $500 bond.
