The TCU women’s volleyball team is traveling to Oklahoma to take on the Sooners Wednesday with a two-game winning streak under its belt.

The Horned Frogs (15-11, 3-8 Big 12) swept Prairie View A&M last Wednesday and topped Baylor on Saturday in a five-set win for the season series sweep of the Bears.

TCU’s senior middle blocker Yvonne Igodan leads all players offensively with 248 kills on the season, and freshman outside hitter Ashley Smith followers with 224 kills. In the last two matches, though, junior right-side hitter Stephanie Holland has led the Frogs with 26 kills.

Sophomore setter Alexia Heist and redshirt freshman setter Trisha Langley lead TCU offensive production with 551 and 406 assists on the season, respectively. Freshman libero Shane Peters has recorded 303 digs on the season.

TCU is looking to split the series with the Sooners (18-7, 6-5 Big 12), after Oklahoma topped the Frogs in a five-set battle in Fort Worth earlier in the season. TCU and Oklahoma are meeting for the ninth time, with the Sooners holding a 7-1 advantage in the series.

Oklahoma is experiencing a three-game losing streak, the program’s longest since 2011. The Sooners were last swept by No. 25 Iowa State on Saturday and dropped to 2-3 on the season against ranked opponents.

Oklahoma’s senior middle blocker and All-American Sallie McLaurin leads the team offensively with 337 kills and leads the Big 12 with a .438 hitting percentage. Preseason All-Big 12 selection in sophomore middle blocker Kierra Holst adds 2.97 kills per set on the season.

Sophomore libero Taylor Migliazzo guides the team defensively with 297 digs on the season and 3.26 digs per set. Sophomore setter Julia Doyle has recorded 828 assists overall.

First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Oklahoma’s McCasland Field House. The match will be televised live on FSSW+ and FCS Central. Live audio will also be available at GoFrogs.com.
