College students seem to have a reliance on caffeine to get them through lectures and late night study sessions, but there are healthier alternatives to power through the day.

    Student robbed on McCart Avenue

    A male TCU student was robbed at approximately 12:30 a.m., according to a crime alert email sent by TCU Police.

    According to the email, a male student was walking along the east side of the street in the 2900 block of McCart Avenue.

    In the email, the student said he heard a car pull up close behind him and stop. He reported that someone jerked him around and punched him in the eye, which knocked him to the ground. At least three unknown males proceeded to kick the student, and he was knocked unconscious.

    According to the report, the student’s wallet and iPhone were stolen.

    The student was not able to give a suspect or vehicle description.
