Fields sustains yet another injury

TCU forward Amric Fields broke his hand Saturday in a loss to Harvard and could miss two to six weeks, according to head basketball coach Trent Johnson.

Fields was playing in just his fourth game since missing most of last season with a knee injury.

That was not the only injury the Horned Frogs suffered in a 71-50 loss to the Crimson Saturday night. Freshman forward Brandon Parrish sprained his thumb and is day-to-day.

Those add to a long list of injuries that TCU has had to deal with this season. The Frogs lost junior forward Devonta Abron for the year because of an Achilles injury in the offseason. Redshirt freshman center Aaron Durley injured his left ACL for the second time and will also miss the season.

Freshman guard Hudson Price is day-to-day with a concussion. He and Parrish have not been ruled out for TCU’s next game against Mississippi State on Thursday.
