A TCU student reported that a man entered her first floor apartment through an unlocked window early Monday morning.

The student’s Princeton St. apartment was burglarized at about 5:47 a.m., according to a TCU crime alert sent to students and faculty at 7 a.m. Monday morning.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department incident report, the victim, a 20-year-old female, said that she woke up to the suspect holding her phone next to her bed. She said the suspect dropped the phone as she grabbed his hand and yelled.

The student reported to police that the suspect then ran into the living room, grabbed her backpack and left the apartment through the unlocked front door.

The student told police that the suspect was wearing a blue surgical mask and a black baseball cap.
