Womens golf takes 15th place at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

The 43rd-ranked TCU women’s golf team finished 15th place Tuesday at the three-day Lady Puerto Rico Classic.

Junior Alexandra Bonetti from Paris cut down her score from day one to day three by seven strokes.

Although junior Chaney Uhles improved from 83 to 75 strokes from day one to day two, she finished day three with a score of 78.

Finnish-born senior Sanna Nuutinen finished 16th out of 81 competitors overallwith a score of 220 strokes. 

TCU scored a 306 on the last day of tournament, rounding out their final score to 921. 

Arkansas’ lady golfers won the tournament with three of their golfers finishing in the top six. Purdue’s Aurora Kan and Alabama’s Stephanie Meadow tied with a three-day total of 211 strokes.

The Horned Frogs will open up play again March 11 in Oahu, Hawaii.
