TCU 360 wins ‘Best Online Newspaper’ award by APME

TCU+360+wins+Best+Online+Newspaper+award+by+APME

TCU360.com won the Class A award for best online newspaper by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors Sunday.

The site finished in front of fellow Class A competitors Kerrville Daily Times and New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung.

TCU 360 also garnered a third-place finish for “Team Effort” in the Class A division.

The site “was launched July 1, 2011, replaced DailySkiff.com and is a key component in the Schieffer School’s move toward digital-first publishing,” according to the Schieffer School’s website.
