The Horned Frogs beat the Cyclones 3-1 (25-15, 18-25, 30-28, 25-16) for the first time in program history and claimed their first Big 12 win of the season.

TCU nulled 15 kills from Iowa State in the first set alone while logging only a single error. They also added six blocks in the set to win 25-15.

The Cyclones tied the match at one a piece in the second set.

A back-and-forth third set recorded 20 tie scores as the Frogs battled for set point. They pulled out a 30-28 win behind a pair of kills from Mattie Burleson and Sarita Mikals.

TCU rolled to another dominating set in the fourth, leading off with a 5-0 score and serving three straight aces to make it 18-7. Solid defense by Burleson tacked on two blocks as the Frogs won 25-16.
