College students seem to have a reliance on caffeine to get them through lectures and late night study sessions, but there are healthier alternatives to power through the day.

    Women’s basketball defeats Missouri State 82-68

    The TCU women’s basketball team ran past Missouri State with an 82-68 victory Saturday evening in the second contest of the OMNI Classic at the Coors Events Center.

    Junior guard Zahna Medley earned a season-best 29 points. Medley matched her previous career highs in field goals and assists.

    Eight Horned Frogs scored at least eight points while TCU totaled 18 assists and tallied 24 points off of 24 Missouri State turnovers.

    The Frogs tied an OMNI Classic tournament record with 19 3-pointers in the two combined contests.

    TCU will host Texas A&M at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at the University Recreation Center.
