TCU starting pitcher Preston Morrison was named both the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week and the Collegiate Baseball Louisville Slugger National Pitcher of the Week.

In Morrison’s outing against Arizona State on Friday, he threw a complete game shutout against the No. 9 Sun Devils. The senior retired 23 of the last 25 batters he faced in TCU’s 3-0 victory. It was his fourth career shutout and his 27th career win, which ties him for the third most wins in program history.

This is the fourth time in Morrison’s career he has been named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.
