Ryker Thompson emerged victorious in the run-off for vice president of operations Monday night.

After 12 hours of voting, 1158 total votes determined that Thompson would take office.

Due to there being no absolute majority in the election, a run-off was required to determine the vice president of operations. Ernest Dominick and Tierney Johnson also ran but did not receive enough votes to be included in the run-off.

Thompson received 670 votes to Austin Taylor’s 479 in Monday’s run-off election.

Thompson joins Student Body President Maddie Reddick, Vice President of External Affairs Katie Phillips and Treasurer John Paul Watson as the student body officers for 2015-2016.
