The TCU men’s golf team finished their season Monday after landing just outside the top eight advancing teams at the NCAA Championship.

The 10th place finish in the fourth round gave the Frogs their fourth top-ten showing of all time, but was not enough to advance the Frogs in the tournament.

Playing on the hardest course of the season at The Concession Club in Bremerton, Florida, the Horned Frogs carded an 11-over 299 in the final round and finished in 10th place, just seven strokes out of eighth.

In the last tournament of his collegiate career, senior Andrew Presley carded a 2-under 70 in his final round and finished seventh overall at 3-under. The Fort Worth native carded one birdie and two bogeys on the front nine and at the turn, made three birdies with no miscues on the back nine. This was Presley’s fourth top-10 finish, and he is the seventh Frog of all-time to place in the top 10.

Fellow senior, Julien Brun, ended his storied career at TCU finishing in a tie for 29th place. The three-time All-American carded a 2-over 74 in his final round and finished at 5-over 76. Brun posted his 14th career round of par or better at the NCAA Championship during Sunday’s third round when he shot a 2-under 70.

Rounding out the scoring for the Horned Frogs was sophomore Chelso Barrett, carding 12-over 84 and eagled the par-5 592 17th hole in the final round. Barrett tied for 54th place. Junior Paul Barjon finished at 13-over and tied for 61st place and sophomore Guilio Castagnara finished 84th.
