College students seem to have a reliance on caffeine to get them through lectures and late night study sessions, but there are healthier alternatives to power through the day.

Frog golfers head to tournaments

The golf teams will travel to compete in their respective invitational tournaments this weekend.

The men’s team will play at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters in Las Vegas. The Frogs finished ninth overall in the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational earlier in the month.

The women’s team will compete in the Tiger/Wave Classic in New Orleans. The tournament roster consists of 23 teams, nine of which are currently ranked among the top-20 programs in the nation.

The Lady Frogs posted a second place team finish in their last tournament. Sophomore Rachel Raastad, senior Valentine Derrey and junior Melissa Loh were among the top-10 individual finishers,

This weekend, Raastad, Derrey and Loh, as well as sophomore Brooke Beeler and freshman Louise Kristersson, are included in the line-up.
