The big game atmosphere of the Fiesta Bowl will be complete for Frog fans as the Frogs will don their Nike Pro Combat uniforms again for the game, according Mark Cohen, TCU director of athletic media relations.

The Frogs were selected as one of ten teams in the country to receive new Nike Pro Combat technology uniforms to wear during a rivalry game in 2009. The Frogs sported their new look against Utah in front of a record setting crowd at Amon Carter Stadium.

The uniform consists of a purple top with Horned Frogs sewn across the top of the chest. The helmet and pants resemble the scales of a horned lizard and two red lines run from the top of the face mask to the back of the helmet representing the blood horned lizards shoot out of their eyes when attacked.

The Frogs will introduce Nike Pro Combat uniforms as TCU’s uniform at the beginning of the 2010 season, according to athletic media relations.
