Letter to the Editor: Participation in meeting mischaracterized

I would like to correct some information that ran in the Daily Skiff concerning why Dustin Naegle and Erin House were in attendance at the SGA meeting Tuesday night. We were simply there to answer any questions regarding the services offered at Froggie Five-0. A statement in Wednesday’s article that “Sadeghi passed both his resolutions with the help of Erin House, a dispatcher for Froggie Five-O, and Dustin Naegle, head supervisor for the safety-escort service” is a gross misrepresentation of our role at that meeting. Dustin and I have never formally met Saman Sadeghi (the author of the proposal to expand Froggie Five-O hours), let alone assisted him in passing his legislation. Furthermore, in speaking as a Froggie Five-0 employee, I would like to point out that while I agree with Sadeghi’s overall intent of improving safety at TCU, I whole-heartedly disagree with his methodology in accomplishing such a goal.

Erin House is a junior religion major from Iowa Park.
