Whether you are looking for a high adrenaline car race to watch or a slow-paced parade of holiday lights, the Metroplex has it all. Be sure to check out holiday performances by Circle Theatre, Texas Ballet Theater and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

Nov. 5 – 8 – Race Week at Texas Motor Speedway

The speedway will once again become a gearhead’s heaven this week with the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series, complete with fast cars, cold beers and cut-off shorts. Check the Web site for times and details for the week.

Nov. 6 – 8 – Romanian Food Festival

Blending tastes from their neighboring Turks, Greeks, Bulgarians and Austrians, Romanian cuisine stands out from the everyday burger and fries. Come try new foods while enjoying entertainment such as folk dancing, music, gymnastics and boxing shows.
