Rose Bowl celebration January 16th

After an undefeated season and a Rose Bowl championship, TCU’s football team has more celebrating to do.

Horned Frog fans have been invited for a celebration in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum Sunday, Jan. 16 at 4 p.m.

The public is invited at no charge. The doors to the Coliseum and concession

stands will open at 2:30 p.m.

Head Coach Gary Patterson, Chancellor Victor Boschini, Athletic Director Chris Del Conte and Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief will be among the speakers.

In addition to the football team, the TCU band and spirit groups will join in the commemoration of many firsts.

The Horned Frogs posted their first undefeated season since winning the 1938 national championship. TCU, finishing the season 13-0, also won 13 games in a season for the first time in its history.

Excluding the NFL, TCU’s 21-19 victory over Wisconsin was the most-watched event in ESPN and cable television history.
