TCU snags tenth best recruiting class

ESPN released their initial class of 2012 team football rankings Friday, and not only has TCU cracked the list, they’re ahead of some impressive competition.

While the website was quick to mention the recruiting process is in its infancy, TCU was placed with the tenth best recruiting class in the nation, ahead of Auburn, Oregon, Ohio State and Oklahoma.

The Frogs currently have 11 signees in for their 2012 class, including two of the best 150 recruits in the country, according to ESPN.

The Frogs currently have commitments from five four star recruits and six three star recruits.

To compare, the current class has as many four star recruits as the previous two recruiting classes combined.

The University of Texas, despite a 5-7 record, is ranked No. 1 overall. Florida State, Alabama, Texas A&M and Florida round out the top five classes.
