Over the last few weeks, the 109 has had plenty of live music and proud football fans. If you’re looking for a little excitement this week, join the celebration at the following venues.

The Boss Level, Leon The Professional, Lou charles, Doug Funnie, and Kyeyote will play at the TCU vs. SMU Hip-Hop Pep Rally Party at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at The Moon. Cover is $5, so throw on your purple, and join your fellow 109ers for a great night.

If you forgot your purple at home, and are uninterested in the pep rally, there are still places with great live music. Lindby, Jim Locus, and Madras will play at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at The Cellar. Down the street, Aron Sandoval will play at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Rock Bottom.

Starting out the month of October, The Four Pale Horsemen, Tyler Brown, and Danny Dobro Hill will play at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Cellar. Walk across the street for the Fort Worth Music Festival After Party with Outback Special around 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Moon.
