Toyota is voluntarily recalling six different models, which they estimate will involve about 1.3 million vehicles.
These models have problems with their airbags, which can lead to the warning light turning on or the bag deactivating, Toyota announced yesterday in a press release.
A deactivated bag would not deploy in a crash.
The models being recalled include some Corolla, Matrix, Highlander, Tacoma, RAV4 and Yaris cars made from 2006-2010.
Toyota wrote in a statement that they are not aware of people being injured or killed as a result of the airbag malfunction.
