Free B-cycling, trail party kick start Trinity Trails safety campaign

Free B-cycle rentals and a trail party are on the radar this weekend at Trinity Trails.

Fort Worth B-Cycles is offering free four-hour bike rentals, according to a news release by Streams & Valleys, for those wanting to join them and Mayor Betsy Price as they kick off the new Share the Trail safety campaign for Trinity Trails.

It all begins 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at Panther Island Pavilion, according to the release. Everyone is invited to run, bike or stroll the new “Slow Zone” Route from the Pavilion to the Woodshed and Clearfork Food Truck Park.

Then, at high noon, a trail party and press conference will be held at the Clearfork Food Truck Park, the release said.

Pets, as long as they are on a leash, strollers and rollerblades are all welcome, according to the release. And parking for the event is available at 305 W. Purcey St.
