Suspect in TCU indecent exposure cases detained

Fort Worth police arrested a man Monday afternoon who they said admitted exposing himself to female TCU students.
At least two women reported a man in Crown Victoria pulling along side them and fondling himself after making eye contact.
Jose Ortiz-Salas, 31, was arrested after a Fort Worth police special response team that was stationed at the intersection of West Berry Street and South University Drive saw a vehicle matching the description given by the students.

Fort Worth police arrested Jose Ortiz-Salas Monday in connection with multiple indecent exposure reports.

After being detained, police said they discovered that Jose Ortiz-Salas had an outstanding immigration deportation detainer. He is in jail awaiting federal charges, police said.

Police identified the driver of the vehicle as Ernesto Ortiz-Salas, 21. He was arrested for outstanding traffic violations, according to police.
