The No. 24 Horned Frogs finished sixth in the field of 15 schools this weekend at the Notre Dame Clover Cup in Mesa, Arizona, posting a team score of 885.

The Frogs began the weekend with a team score of 292 on Friday before posting a low round of 287 on Saturday, bested only by Florida State (284), Oklahoma (284), and Arizona State (275) on the day. Brooke McDougald and Kelly McGovern led the Saturday charge posting rounds of 71.

Saturday’s round was followed with a team score of 306 on the day, the highest of the weekend for the Frogs, playing without Brooke Graebe who was disqualified after two rounds. Emmy Martin posted a 73, the lowest of any Horned Frog on Sunday, en route to an even-par 216 weekend and a 12th place finish individually. Martin recorded two birdies on the last day of action.

Arizona State won the tournament with a weekend 26-under-par score of 838, while Oklahoma, Florida State, Houston, and Kentucky rounded out the rest of the top five.

The Frogs return to action on April 9 when they compete in the Silverado Showdown in Napa, California.
