04/13/2017: Dr. Allen Goben, president of the Tarrant County College Northeast Campus in Hurst where Matheson was a student issued the following statement: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of Molly Matheson, and offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.”
04/13/17: There was no forced entry into the residence, Fort Worth Police Officer Jimmy Pollozani said.
04/12/17: TCU Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Kathy Cavins-Tull sent an email out to students stating that TCU police will be expanding their patrol borders and adding additional off-duty Fort Worth Police Department officers and will continue until the suspect has been arrested or determined to no longer be a threat.
04/12/17: Matheson’s pledge class sorority sister at University of Arkansas and TCU alumna, Natalie Platschka, said that Matheson was always smiling. “She was always just a sweet and nice girl. Always there to talk if you needed.”
