TCU fell to No. 9 Baylor 82-49 in Waco Tuesday despite a team-high 14 points from senior guard Lauren Heard.

Heard has now scored 10 or more points for the 13th time this season. She led the team with nine rebounds, four assists and three steals. 

Baylor came out strong from the beginning, going 6-of-6 from the field, and went into the second quarter with a 10-point lead. The Lady Bears led the Frogs 36-23 at halftime.

Baylor scored 46 points in the second half of the game, compared to TCU’s 26, to seal the win for the team.

Graduate forward Michelle Berry scored 12 points in the loss. This was Berry’s third straight game scoring double-digit points. 

TCU falls to 5-41 all-time against Baylor, and 2-20 when playing in Waco.

The Horned Frogs return home this Saturday, Jan. 30, to host the West Virginia Mountaineers. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at Schollmaier Arena and will be televised live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
