TCU running back Waymon James is out for the rest of the 2012 season, due to an ACL injury, team officials told TCU 360.
James led the Horned Frogs in rushing through their first two games of the season with 168 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.
The junior running back also led the team in rushing during the 2011 season when he rushed for 875 yards and six touchdowns.
James was named the starter in the offseason after former running back Ed Wesley left the team for personal reasons.
