Frogs fall in both polls

Frogs fall in both polls

TCU fell in both major polls on Sunday after a 56-53 loss to Texas Tech.

The Frogs dropped from the top 25 in the Coaches Poll and remained out of the Associated Press top 25. They received votes in both polls. 

With the win, Texas Tech moved up to No. 17 in the Coaches poll and No. 15 in the Associated Press Poll.

TCU also fell from No. 21 to No. 22 in the Harris Poll which is a component of the BCS rankings that will be released Sunday night.

Here are some other notables from the polls:

Texas, who beat Baylor 56-50, moved up to No. 24 in the Coaches Poll and received votes in the Associated Press Poll.

West Virginia fell to No. 22 in the Coaches poll and No. 25 in the Associated Press Poll. Kansas State moved to No. 4 in both polls after beating the Mountaineers 55-14.

Oklahoma beat Kansas 52-7 and remained No. 7 in the Coaches Poll and moved to No. 8 in the Associated Press poll.

Oklahoma State received votes in both polls after beating Iowa State 31-10.

Alabama, Oregon and Florida took the top three spots in both polls. All three teams won on Saturday.
