Kansas State leads TCU at halftime 29-27 after 3-point barrages from Wildcat guard Brittany Chambers and Horned Frog freshman Zahna Medley.

Chambers made three 3-point shots in the opening six minutes to help Kansas State open up an early 14-6 lead.

TCU guard Kamy Cole hit a runner in the lane to pull TCU to within four points at 11 minute mark, but  Wildcat forward Chantay Caron scored back-to-back layups to expand the lead to 8.

Cole hit consecutive 3-pointers at in the final five minutes of the first half to pull TCU to within six.

After a Chambers layup, Medley drained a 3-pointer at the 2:20 mark to cut the Wildcat lead to five.

Medley then hit consecutive jumpshots to close out the first half, including a last second 3-pointer as the first half ended.

Chambers leads all scorers in the game with 13 points. The Wildcats shot 5-21 from beyond the arc in the first half. Kansas State also gathered nine offensive rebounds in the first half.

Medley finished the first half leading the Frogs in scoring with 11 points. Forward Latricia Lovings, who had a double-double in the Jan. 5 game in Manhattan, KS, only scored four points but hauled in 8 rebounds in the first half. 

TCU and Kansas State committed six turnovers in the first half. The Wildcats collected 21 rebounds to TCU's 14. The teams combined for 31 total first half 3-point attempts. TCU shot 50 percent from while Kansas State finished 5-21 from deep.
