Tickets for TCU football’s Cowboy Classic season opener matchup against LSU are the second-most expensive college football game of the 2013 season.

With an average ticket price of $584.13, according to AL.com, admission to the pricey showdown is second only behind the Alabama at Texas A&M game, which has a current average ticket price of $626.42.

According to AL.com, TiqIQ computed the prices by averaging resale prices on sites such as StubHub and eBay.

StubHub users are reselling tickets from $72 to $19,883, while eBay's highest price is $2,122 for a single ticket. The $19,883 ticket is for the a suite on the Silver Level of the stadium and the lowest price, $72, will buy a standing room only ticket.

Meanwhile, $20,290 was the highest price found online for the LSU vs. TCU game on lavatickets.com for seating in the Sliver Suites, which has “vaulted ceilings with spacious surroundings,” with seating for 16-20 people and VIP parking passes, according to the Cowboys Stadium website, for those who want to watch the showdown in luxury.

Last year, tickets for the Alabama at LSU game took the crown of most expensive game with an average ticket price of $632.71, according to ESPN.com.

In addition to the Cowboys Classic, TCU has another top-10 ticket.

TCU’s Oct. 26 home matchup against Texas is the seventh-most expensive ticket, coming in at an average ticket price of $451.09, according to TiqIQ. The Horned Frogs were the victors of the 2012 game in Austin.

Despite steep asking prices for the public, TCU students will be able to buy LSU game tickets for $50, according to the TCU Athletics Ticket Office.
