The Salty Dog Tattoo Shop, located on West Berry Street, is under new management and branding after one of its former tattoo artists bought out the company.

Bear Griffin, the new owner of the store after buying out original owner Troy Farmer, said he has been employed by the tattoo shop since 2004.

Griffin, who does tattoos and piercings at the shop as well, said that the Fort Worth Tattoo Company will still employ the same artists that it has in the past.

Griffin did not disclose the amount of money that was exchanged with Farmer for the buyout. Information on the property was not available on the Tarrant County Appraisal District's website.
