Frogs fall to Longhorns 62-50

Despite a seven-point lead at the half, the Horned Frogs fell to the University of Texas Longhorns 62-50 Tuesday night.

Ventress led three Horned Frogs with 14 points, followed by junior forward Chelsea Prince with 12 points and sophomore guard Zahna Medley with 10 points.

After half, TCU maintained the seven-point advantage until the 16:16 mark. Then, the Frogs went scoreless for more than seven minutes and Texas took a 43-37 lead with 9:48 remaining, according to GoFrogs.com.

TCU lost the rebound battle 55-29, and the Longhorns scored 15 second-chance points.

The Frogs succeeded in turnovers however, forcing 19 Texas turnovers compared to 13 for the Frogs.

The Horned Frogs will host Oklahoma in the home finale Saturday at 7 p.m., at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
