Intercollegiate Tennis Association Hall of Famer and TCU women’s tennis head coach Dave Borelli is retiring, according to Assistant Athletic Director Mark Cohen.

Borelli spent 12 years with the Frogs, coaching both the women’s team and men’s team during his career. He finishes his 23-season career with a 435-110 record overall.

During his career, Borelli coached 56 All-Americans, seven NCAA singles and doubles champions and won seven NCAA Championships, which is the most among active coaches, according to GoFrogs.

All seven of Borelli’s titles came during his time with the USC Trojans women’s team, where he coached from 1974-1988. His Trojan teams won 88 straight home matches over an eight-year period.

TCU went 12-12 and 5-4 in Big 12 play this season.

Applications for the position are available for submission here.

Calls to Borelli from TCU 360 were not immediately returned.
