Junior Alex Young tossed eight scoreless innings in Morgantown, West Virginia, on Sunday to lead TCU to its ninth shutout of the season.

Young (9-2) gave up only three hits in the outing, and center fielder Cody Jones tallied three hits and stole three bases to lead the offense. Second baseman Garrett Crain also had two hits and two RBIs on the day.

The weekend sweep was the Frogs’ third in a row. TCU will begin its final homestand of the season on Friday when it takes on Kansas at 6:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. The game will be broadcasted on FSSW+.
