Female student reports sexual assault in residence hall

    A female student reported that she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance in a campus residence hall, according to a campuswide e-mail sent by TCU Police on Friday.

    Campus police on Wednesday received the report about the incident, which was reported to have happened on or about Aug. 30, according to the e-mail.

    TCU Police staff declined to release more details, including information about the suspect or the residence hall where the incident took place.

    “It’s an ongoing investigation right now, and we’re not going to release anything,” TCU Police Sgt. Alvin Allcon said.

    Lt. Paul Henderson, spokesman for the Fort Worth Police Department, could not be reached for comment.
